In February, Director Jim Mann and several researchers spoke to an audience of 150 health service funders, planners and clinical leads at the Long-Term Conditions Forum for DHBs, PHOs and community-based health providers.
This was a fantastic opportunity to present research evidence to an audience interested in new ways of delivering care to people living with long-term conditions.
Researchers from the Mana Tū, WellConnectedNZ and He Pikinga Waiora project teams presented the results of their innovative approaches to designing more effective and equitable models of care.
Following the keynote session, concurrent workshops run by WellConnectedNZ and Mana Tū explored how these models can be adapted in real-world settings.
