Healthier Lives National Science Challenge, along with A Better Start, and Ageing Well—are partners in the NZ-China Non-Communicable Diseases Research Collaboration Centre, which aims to bring together researchers from across New Zealand to strengthen research collaborations with China for the mutual benefit of both countries.

In an exciting development a new Research Collaboration Manager position is currently being advertised. The half-time position will play a pivotal role in organising the activities of the Centre, liaising with key organisations and individuals in China and New Zealand, and helping to set the strategic direction for the Centre.

The Centre is seeking someone who is a dynamic academic manager who speaks fluent Mandarin, has a background in non-communicable diseases, and in-depth understanding of the academic and research culture in both New Zealand and China.
